I started D.O.G Hub because I wanted to be able to support dog owners whenever they needed it. The weekly 1-hour group classes just didn’t seem to cut it. During that hour class, owners are sometimes struggling to just get their dog engaged with them, let alone actually be able to listen to the advice being provided. I wanted a place where people could learn the skills required to train their dog, to build that amazing relationship, to achieve the results they wanted, plus I wanted the fun social element.

Being part of a community of other like minded ‘doggie’ people and being able to celebrate the successes and genuinely support each other during times when owning a dog can be really hard and not the dream that we thought it would be. As a person who struggles to ask for help and who likes to figure it all out by myself, I wanted to create a space where everyone is welcome, and no question is out of bounds. I want to save owners from that deep dark fear and inner voice that says; "have I made a mistake?" "is this too much?" Why didn’t anyone tell me it would be this hard!!

D.O.G Hub is where I can truly give owners fun, support and most importantly, teach them how to develop the dream partnership with their dog and cheer them all the way through.

D.O.G. Hub is a monthly subscription membership so you can have access to all of this for a very affordable monthly fee and there is no contract so you can stay as long - or as short- as you need.

"Having returned to dog ownership after a break of many years, I wanted to progress my dog’s development and enrichment beyond initial training. Jo, the team, and the members community at Dog Hub provide a wide range of regular stimulating activities, sessions, and communal support which I value highly. I would recommend Dog Hub to anyone wanting to get the best out of their relationship with their dog”

"My dog and I have been members of Dog HUB for several years; the practical training sessions are great fun and there's always something new to learn and discuss on the regular zoom sessions. We really like the social walks and have enjoyed exploring some new places and trying new things! Jo is a well qualified trainer and behaviourist, her knowledge and experience, alongside the support and friendship within the Dog HUB community make this a fantastic group to be part of."

"Being part of DOGhub has so many benefits. The community is filled with welcoming, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic dog owners. We have access to training videos for almost anything you can think to train. The walks and classes are so inclusive, with reactive and sensitive dogs' needs accommodated so everyone can be part of the fun. And, most importantly, we have Jo available to us pretty much 24/7 (sorry Jo!) to talk through any issues we might be struggling with.

If you're a dog enthusiast, or you have a dog you're ready to commit to training, this place is for you!"

"I have to admit that, when first receiving the email inviting me to join the D.O.G. Hub, I really didn’t get it. I have owned dogs most of my life and each dog has brought different issues which apart from perhaps an initial puppy class or two I have mainly managed myself. I could not at first see that this D.O.G. Hub would be that helpful to me now. How wrong could I have been! Having decided to join – knowing there was no time tie-in – what Jo has put together for us dog owners is amazing! I look forward to and enjoy all the various elements of this Hub – also getting to know other dog owners and I really think getting to know my own dogs better too! Jo – I can’t thank you enough - and even in this time of lock down we can still move forward and learn more about our wonderful four-legged friends. If you have any qualms about joining I can only say from my experience – join us!"

"As a first time dog owner I have found the support of Dog Hub invaluable. When they are puppies there is quite a bit of support for you but as you go through that stage I have found it a little harder to get the right support for me and my dog. I love the access to all of the videos and zoom sessions as well as the practical sessions and social walks. It can be hard to fit in training when you work full time and live on your own with a dog but being a member of Dog Hub offers me the flexibility I need to understand my dog more and be a better owner Access to one to one training to work on specific requirements has also been so helpful especially enabling me space to work on recall which I have found hard but Jo has helped me how to be more confident with this.

Jo and the team are amazing and having access to the resources that Dog Hub provides allows me and my dog to have a better relationship with each other. I couldn’t of done this alone and am very grateful for all of the support from Dog Hub and it’s members"

"I joined DOGHub after Jo’s help with my reactive lab. It provides wonderful support for people who love their dogs and want them to have the best possible lives they can, whether they have problems or not. The dogs (and owners!) get the opportunity to try all sorts of dog sports and continue to deepen their bond with their dog. A great club and great value for money."

"We have a rescue GSP with reactive issues. We acquired Otter in June last year.

We contacted Jo for help. Otter started on the crazy dog woof program. This included one to one training, group training with other dogs and on line traing tutorials.

Jo was able to give myself and my husband confidence to progress his training, which help us immensely to set Otter up for success in challenges given to him. Slowly but surely Otter has improved. He has now recieved his bronze level in foundation and focus. He also has achieved his level 1 and 2 parkour training and is now enjoying his time in the DOG HUB group where he is now able to go on walks with other dogs and humans. We still have a way to go yet but slowly with Jo's help and expertise we WILL get there. We are looking forward to doing a basic scent training course with Otter in the near future.

Jo offers so many varieties of training including zoom meetings which I find really useful, all are helping Otter and ourselves gain confidence to help him be less reactive.

Thank you so much Jo for all your help and patience, wisdom and support. It is very much appreciated."

"What can I say about DOG Hub? Well, it is really great. I wasn’t sure when Jo first floated the idea, whether I would get anything from it but it has been brilliant. Having been to Jo’s classes, I wondered if the benefits would still be there. I would say that the benefits are probably greater. When you are in a village hall class, you are trying to concentrate on your puppy/dog plus what the trainer (ie Jo) is explaining. There is little opportunity to talk and discuss with the other handlers. With DOG Hub, we all have ample chance to listen to Jo’s wonderful tuition, make notes, discuss with the other Hub members our individual trials, tribulations and challenges. With the training explained its off to your garden, field etc to do the training. On top of this there are the training videos - showing us how things should look and of course you can watch these as often as you want/can. We can also video our training attempts to send to for their expert opinion.  We are also learning about lots of aspects of dog ownership and dog activities from other experts, during our webinar meetings. In the middle of a pandemic, its benefits are superb, beyond our current lockdown the benefits continue. Thank you"

"Being part of dog hub has been of great value to me and my dog during our time together. Being a first time puppy owner, having Jo at the end of the phone to get advice from with any training or behaviour struggles has been amazing. The group classes are fun and informative. I love being part of a friendly dog loving community."
